【64期高1メリーランド研修　10日目】 今日は午後からアナポリスを訪問しました。 メリーランド州務長官の Ms Susan Lee、教育委員会の長官 Mr Sanjay Rai をはじめ、UMBCでお世話になっているDr Hoogenboom Tomoko,Dr Di Maria Davi による盛大な歓迎会が開催されました。 州務長官の歓迎の言葉を受けて、生徒代表として河合くんが素晴らしいスピーチをしました。 （一部抜粋したもの） Since the last two weeks, we have visited many places such as the white house in Washington D.C. and the national aquarium in Baltimore harbor. And we have had a lot of precious experiences. Also, there were various facilities in the university we visited. It was truly a pleasant memory living in a university’s dormitory. I believe this stimulating experience here will be helpful throughout my life. スピーチをしている間、みんなの視線が僕に集まっていてかなり緊張しました。州務長官のような偉い方の前でスピーチをできたことはものすごく貴重な体験でした。ありがとうございました。（高1 河合寛汰） 他の生徒からも州務長官への質問をする場面もあり、とても有意義な機会となりました。 その後メリーランド州議事堂の見学をしました。週末に再度アナポリスを訪れる予定です。
